Serres Racing Circuit is located southwest of the city of Serres in the Omonoia Sports Park. The track, which was built in 1998, meets safety requirements of up to Formula 3 level. The main shareholder is the municipality of Serres owning 76.5% of the shares. The particularity that differentiates it from other tracks and makes it the longest track in the Balkans is its length (3,186 km) and its width (12-15 meters).In total, it has 16 turns, of which 7 are left and 9 are right.
It is the only racing circuit in Greece that meets the construction specifications of the International Automobile Federation (FIA) and the International Motorcycle Federation (FIM) and can hold races of up to Formula 3.
Its facilities include a media center that can accommodate up to 50 people, 3 VIP rooms with a view of the pits, 5 soundproofed rooms to allow live broadcasting, a conference room that can accommodate up to 35 people, an award-ceremony room, race coordination rooms and 2 cafe-restaurants offering breakfast, all day meals, coffee, and beverages.
